OK GO, Rube Goldberg Machine

Rube Goldberg-  Of, relating to, or being a contrivance that brings about by complicated means what apparently could have been accomplished simply.

This music video by OK GO for the song this To Shall Pass is one amazing example of a kinetic art machine.  Falling umbrellas, smashing tvs, crazy inflatables, bowling balls, you name it, its in there doing something all in time with the song.  I always have an appreciation for one take videos, Fiest’s 1234 video comes to mind.  This to shall Pass is a remarkable feat of labor, diligence and timing.  (more…)
