July 19, 2018 Still reeling from a whirlwind weekend of Salad Days and board meetings at @watershedceramics . It was such an incredible time seeing old friends that were in session as artists, catching up with fellow board members, and this “bottle” form I made back in 2006. It was such an incredible event that I forgot to take pictures and only came home with this one.
July 8, 2018 So great to be home, but my mind keeps going back to the sights of Jingdezhen. It’s a crazy city; overwhelming in its contrasts, skill, beauty, chaos, and hospitality. I’ve promised myself that I’ll return before another 8 years go by.
June 28, 2018 Got to spend my last moments in #jingdezhen with these two lovelies, in @agnesfries amazing studio in the sculpture factory. Pictured also is her assistant Jiaohan, a former colleague, and now a business owner of a rooftop bar. So great to see the both of you in such a wonderful setting.
June 28, 2018 Photos like this seem exotic and singular when viewed outside of Jingdezhen. But when here it can be so easily overlooked because workplaces like this exist all over the city.
